planning to thru-hike starting march '06.
have to attempt it now that i've told a few friends and put it in print.
not a great deal of backpacking experience, but this has been
a drem since i was a kid. i grew up in massachusetts and used to pass under the AT bridge over the turnpike all the time. i remember the excitement when i found out what it was.
have said for years i wanted to do it before turning 40. i'm 39 in april.
been looking various place to find thru-hikes to chat with. finding plenty. glad to see some more. anyone care to strike up a conversation?
