It doesn't look like this tribe gets much attention. I found it. Who here has hiked? Who's planning one? I have hiked the AT and go by the name Too Obtuse.

Mon, January 8, 2007 - 4:51 AMwelcome to the AT tribe . . .
no, this tribe doesn't get much attention here . . .
in fact, I think it's founder has moved on to other places and there are a lot of other ifne places on the net.
Probably WhiteBlaze is the best known and most frequented spot on the web for AT hikers . . .
But I'm glad there's an AT tribe . . .
I'm a week-end hiker, myself, having hiked from Amicalola to Fontana Dam on week-ends . . .
That's my pic above Nantahala Gorge . . . -

Re: Too Obtuse Here
Mon, January 8, 2007 - 8:09 AMI've heard of Whiteblaze.com but never spent any time there. It would be nice if more people used this for a resource. However, Tribe tends to be mostly west coast folk and not so many of them hike the AT. -

Sun, February 11, 2007 - 3:23 PMI hiked the AT in 2000.
Whiteblaze is really the best connection for hikers... but I'm glad there's a tribe too! -
